Happy Thanksgiving!

Boy, it sure doesn't feel like Thanksgiving down here.

It feels like late May. It's warm in the sun, a little breezy and chilly in the shade and humid.

The days are getting longer and warmer than the last. There's no Thanksgiving talk to be had, no meals being planned, no turkeys being ordered. The stores aren't over-stocked with the usual suspects. It's just... wrong.

It's kind of sad. It's kind of lonely.

Um, I hope you didn't forget that you are supposed to be coming over here for a full on Thanksgiving meal tomorrow. Well, if you did that's alright. Just more roast kiwi for me! :)

See you tomorrow. Wear your togs brew.

This photo bothers my pragmatic self. I look at it and think..."Why the hell doesn't she cut that thing before she puts it on the table? Are they just supposed to rip pieces off with their hands? And take a close look. There is no freakin' room on that table for a turkey....

I made the stuffing myself this year. Not the same, Steve.

We're still coming out of the turkey coma.
Four of us ate three pies. One of said pies was a whole sheet pan of Grandma Johnson's famous apple pie.
Oh yeah. We'll be running a few extra laps around the house this week. :)
